Set sail around the world, visit cities, and increase your prestige by hunting whales, landing jobs, and searching for new adventures. Develop your character in true RPG fashion, by increasing your stats, choosing your reactions, and developing your seafaring skills. Hire and manage your crew, give them tasks on your ship, and improve your ship with new compartments, expanding your ship’s capabilities. Experience more than a thousand unique events tailored around your choices—and face the results of your actions. Discover new whaling areas, hunt whales for blubber, and protect your ship from pirates using a turn-based combat system. Follow an original story line and complete quests to unveil the secrets behind Moby Dick and dissolve Ahab’s curse. The combat is slow and strategic. You can take three crew per whaleboat (so that’s 9 crew on a larger ship) including yourself if you want to risk your life and each crew member has a skill set based on their class and level. With each turn you roll the dice and pray to Neptune that the wind is in your favor. Opponents similarly have a skill set based on their animal type or pirate class and random event cards play each turn that may be in your favor or against you.
